As natural explorers, children love Oaks Parks’ grounds and outdoor play area – abundant with birds, pheasants and squirrels, allowing them to explore nature and the great outdoors.
We actively encourage children to make use of our beautiful grounds and spend much of the day outdoors, come rain or shine. In order to keep our children active, we go on daily nature walks and engage in many interesting activities and games in the forest and mud kitchen.
We do enjoy getting wet and muddy, so for parents convenience we provide all outdoor clothing required for a day at Oaks Park.
Phonics is now widely accepted in mainstream education as the best method for teaching children to read and write. Maria Montessori advocated this approach over 100 years ago.
